This week is my cousin Abby's spring break. So she spent the day with us on Monday and we colored eggs. She was so excited to do it that she kept asking all morning when we were going to start. By the time we started, I was in such a hurry that I forgot to boil the eggs. I realized right in the middle of coloring. It was too late to stop then. So I just boiled them after we dyed them. Do you know what happens to colored eggs when you boil them? All the color boils off! So I had to re-dye them. I don't know how I forgot to boil the eggs. I've only been coloring eggs for 30 years! Oh well, they turned out fine. We had a few Easter egg hunts after naps. I made them wear bunny ears while they hunted. Here's some pics.
